Foundational Stage (Balvatika – Class II )

The stage is for the students aged between 3-8.
Focuses on Physical, Socio-emotional, Cognitive, Aesthetic, and Language Development, with an emphasis on developing positive learning habits.
Strong emphasis on Foundational Literacy and Numeracy, with children learning languages (English, Hindi and Malayalam). Malayalam & Hindi will be taught in Grade 1 and 2 only.
Content includes toys, puzzles, picture books, and manipulatives, with textbooks introduced from Grade 1.
Pedagogy for Balvatika is play-based, promoting nurturing teacher-student relationships and a mix of individual and group learning.
Assessment is qualitative, using teacher observations and worksheets.

Preparatory Stage (Class III- V)

The stage is for the students aged between 8-11.
Focus on languages English, Hindi, Communicative Arabic and Malayalam, Mathematics, Art Education, Physical         Education, and The World Around Us (Science).
Content presented through textbooks and activities, with a focus on independent reading and experiential learning.
Pedagogy encourages active participation and discovery-based learning, with practice for fluency.
Assessments include formal written tests, teacher observations, and periodic summative assessments.

Middle Stage (Class VI- VIII)

The stage is for the students aged between 11-14.
Focus on languages English and Hindi, Communicative Arabic and Malayalam, Mathematics, Art Education, Physical     Education, Science, Social Science, and Vocational Education.
Content introduces theoretical concepts, abstract ideas, and academic linguistic proficiency.
Pedagogy balances direct instruction with inquiry-based learning, building on prior knowledge and error-based learning.
Assessments are more formal, focusing on conceptual understanding, analysis, and synthesis.
